The Waggle Dance

The Waggle Dance is a lively, fun-filled dance that represents the way bees communicate within the hive about where to find nectar and pollen. The Rotary Club of Canterbury, Melbourne, Austrlalia, created the Waggle Dance to raise awareness about the vital role of bees and pollinators for our global food security. The Waggle Dance instruction video and music are available on the World Bee Day website and there is an ongoing global challenge to upload videos of the dance to the site: https://www.worldbeeday.org.au/waggle/ People of all ages have loved the dance and uploaded their videos. Our aim is to upload 20,000 videos representing the 20,000 species on our planet. Get waggling to support pollinators!
